29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). If such hazards are present, or likely to be present, the employer shall: a. Forest City Technologies, Inc. located in Wellington, Ohio: On or about July 22, 2016, and July 25, 2016, the employer did not assess the storage tank cleaning operation located in Plant 4 to determine what personal protective equipment would be required. Employees were exposed to liquid primer that was flammable, irritates the skin, and causes serious eyes damage.
