29 CFR 1910.1001(j)(7)(iv): The employer did not provide to all employees who perform housekeeping work in areas where ACM and/or PACM is present, an asbestos awareness training course covering the health effects of asbestos; and/or locations of ACM and/or recognition of ACM and PACM damage and deterioration and/or requirements in this standard related to housekeeping, and/or proper response to fiber release episodes: (a) On or about July 27, 2016 and continuing thereafter, at work site at 46-10 61st Street, Woodside, NY 11377 Employer had not provided asbestos awareness training to employees such as porters and handymen who perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in areas containing asbestos-containing and presumed asbestos-containing materials including, but not limited to, vinyl floor tile and pipe insulation. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
