29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct an annual or more frequent inspection of the energy control procedure to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were followed: At this establishment, in the plant production area, where employees were exposed to struck-by, caught-in, and electrical hazards when performing service and/or maintenance, periodic inspections of the energy control procedures at the manufacturing plant were inadequate for the following types of machines: a. Grinder and Distribution Machine System (Retech Grinder RG 42); b. Shredder and Distribution Machine System (Virtus G 45); c. Horizontal Fiber Blowing and Distribution Machine System (ProLoft 1000/HWO-41); d. CCC Fiber Opening and Distribution Machine System (ProLoft 1500/FF-60); e. Ingermac Plenums (Tec II-1012); f. Ingermac Blowers; g. Air Pressure Compressor (Kaeser DSD-125); h. Hot Air Dryers (Kaeser TG-301); i. CCS Dust Collector (FX-10-3500); and, j. Sewing Machines (Juki DDL-8700-7).
