29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a)Meadows Vertical Corn Mill: On or about July 12, 2016, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to potential hazardous energies in that employees were allowed to perform maintenance on the Meadows Vertical Corn Mill without being provided with written machine specific lockout procedures to prevent the accidental start-up of the machine. b) Engsko Milling Systems Horizontal Grain Mill: On or about July 12, 2016, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to potential hazardous energies in that employees were allowed to perform maintenance on the Engsko Milling Systems Horizontal Grain Mill without being provided with written machine specific lockout procedures to prevent the accidental start-up of the machine. c) Sprouting Machines: On or about July 12, 2016, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to potential hazardous energies in that employees were allowed to perform maintenance on the Sprouting Machines without being provided with written machine specific lockout procedures to prevent the accidental start-up of the machine.
