29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): Select, and have each affected employee use, the types of PPE that will protect the affected employee from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment; a. At the workplace in Hot Mill Area, three employees were exposed to heated titanium plates up to approximately 1000 degree Fahrenheit and open flame without being provided appropriate PPE. The employer's hazard assessment identified heat and high temperatures as sources of potential injury, but did not select and have each employee use PPE that would offer heat and flame protection.
