29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2): each scaffold platform and walkway shall be at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide. a. On or about December 23, 2011 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees were constructing a wooden canopy structure while standing on a platform approximately eighteen (18') feet above the ground. The scaffold platform was not at least 18 inches wide, thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with falls.
