29 CFR 1926.1437(n)(1)(ii): Be applicable to a specified location(s) on the specific barge, pontoons, vessel or other means of flotation that will be used, under the environmental conditions expected and encountered: Trucano Landing, Material Barge "Foss 106": On or about November 3, 2011 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that the load charts for the rated capacity of a P&H Model 535, Serial Number 30336, land-based crawler crane had been modified to ensure that safe lifts could be accomplished at specified locations on the barge. This condition directly affected the stability of the lift and resulted in fatal injuries to the crane operator.
