29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1): Abrasive wheel(s) were used on portable grinder(s) which were not provided with safety guard(s) meeting the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1) through (c)(4)(a): a) Thogus Products Company on or about May 05, 2015, at the address of 33490 Pin Oak Pkwy Avon Lake, OH: The employer failed to ensure a Rotozip angle grinder (model #RFS1000) was equipped with the appropriate factory provided guard while in use. An employee tasked with using the tool in this condition was exposed to the rotating wheel during metal grinding/cutting operations.
