29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: At this employer's job site employees were provided with half-face, tight-fitting respirators for use in and around the wash out area to wash the interior of tanker trailers and to drivers who load up tanker trailers with oilfield drilling fluids at remote locations. The employees using the half-face, tight-fitting respirators were not administered a medical evaluation to determine their ability to use the respirators.
