29 CFR 1910.1048(f)(1): Engineering controls and work practices were not instituted to reduce and maintain employee exposures to formaldehyde at or below the TWA and the STEL: On or about November 5th, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was found to be exposed to a 3.3 ppm over a fifteen (15) minute period while conducting teaching duties at the anatomy department. The employer did not implement engineering controls or work practices that would reduce the exposure below the STEL.
