29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employees were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. a) Southeast Corner - The door marked exit located in the southeast corner of the warehouse was padlocked shut creating an entrapment hazard, on or about 04/10/13. b) East Wall - The door marked exit located on the east wall of the warehouse was padlocked shut, creating an entrapment hazard, on or about 04/10/13. c) North Wall - The door marked exit located in the north wall of the second warehouse was padlocked shut, creating an entrapment hazard, on or about 04/10/13. d) East Side - The outside gate which would be used as exit discharge on the east side of the warehouse is locked and employees do not have access to free space away from the building in the event of a fire creating an entrapment hazard, on or about 04/10/13. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
