29 CFR 1926.651(k)(2): Where the competent person found evidence of a situation that could result in a possible cave-in, exposed employees were not removed from the hazardous area until the necessary precautions have been taken to ensure their safety: JOB SITE: 1201 S. Fifth Street, Saint Charles, MO 63365, at this work site, the employer failed to remove the exposed worker from a hazardous condition. The employer allowed a worker to enter an open excavation, approximately 6 feet 7 inches deep, without any form of protective systems.
