29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: (a) Where employees were exposed to operating chain saws 8 hours per day, and workers were exposed to noise levels in exceeding those levels listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative controls were not implemented; and (b) In the saw mill where background noise levels exceeded the permissible noise levels listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative and/or engineering controls were not utilized.
