29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): The employer did not ensure exit routes were always kept free from obstructions. ALON USA, LP, 200 Refinery Road, Big Spring, TX. The employer does not ensure all exit routes are kept free from obstructions. This violation was observed on or about April 15, 2009 in the following instance: In the DHT Motor Control Room, items such as electrical wires, motors, boxes display terminals, air tanks and debris were observed in areas that blocked exit routes. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that all EXIT routes in the workplace are free of obstructions.
