29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): Energy control procedures shall clearly and specifically outline specific procedural steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy: On or about April 9, 2025, at a facility located at 200 North Grand Avenue in Rothschild, WI; in the Pulp Mill, employees in the process of isolating and preparing the High Pressure Eductor pump for repair, which was a servicing and maintenance activity, were not protected from all hazardous energy sources due to the chemical energy of the cooking acid (calcium bisulfite and sulfurous acid) not being accounted for on the written "High Pressure Eductor Pump Lockout" procedure.
