29 CFR 1910.146(c)(8)(i): When an employer (host) arranges to have employees of another employer (contractor) perform work that involved permit space entry, the host shall inform the contractor that the workplace contains permit spaces and that permit space entry is allowed only through compliance with a permit space program; On or about September 24, 2024, at the Cacique waste pit, the host employer did not provide the confined space permit to the contractor employees, when contractors employees were installing a plug.
