29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Top Plate, Lot #135, Satilla Circle, Shelby, AL: On or about December 12, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that the employees were wearing fall protection or installed guard rails around the unprotected edges of the second level wall top plates, rear of house first level wall top plates, and second level roof joists while performing framing activities from a height of approximately 16 feet, 5 inches to the ground below.
