29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: On or about November 25, 2024, Alta Mira Corporation DBA Spencer Forge and Manufacturing Company at 225 N. Main Street Spencer, OH 44275, did not ensure periodic inspections of energy control procedures were conducted at least annually, including a review of each authorized employee's responsibilities under the energy control procedures. Authorized employees are required to conduct service/maintenance activities on the Mori Seiki CNC Lathe machines (Model #'s SL25B (Identifier #550 ȧ), SL35B (Identifier #565), SL303B (Identifier #554) within Plant 1 & 2, requiring them to perform lockout/tagout.
