29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. a. On or about November 6, 2024, in the chemical room, the fire exit door did not provide free egress/escape from the building in that the door was locked from the inside by a sliding pin, thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with smoke, fires and other emergencies. b.
