29 CFR 1910.30(a)(1):(a) Fall hazards. (1) Before any employee is exposed to a fall hazard, the employer must provide training for each employee who uses personal fall protection systems or who is required to be trained as specified elsewhere in this subpart. Employers must ensure employees are trained in the requirements of this paragraph on or before May 17, 2017. On or about September 25, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees and foreman working from the platforms (walking-working surfaces) of high lift order picker type powered industrial trucks at heights up to approximately 21 to 22 feet, were trained in the use of personal fall protection systems, including the nature and how to recognize fall hazards in the work area [per 1910.30(a)(3)(i)], the procedures to minimize fall hazards [per 1910.30(a)(3)(ii)], correct procedures for installing, inspecting, operating, maintaining fall protection systems [per 1910.30(a)(3)(iii)], and the correct use of personal fall protection systems and equipment [per 1910.30(a)(3)(iv)].
