29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: On or about April 4, 2024, employee(s) engaged in production operations in the facility located at 3302 Harlan Lewis Road, Bellevue, Nebraska were exposed to fire and electrical hazards. Multiple flexible extension cords were being used in lieu of permanent wiring by the employee(s). Flexible cords were used provide powering to multiple battery charging stations and cordless hand tools. Instances of exposure were documented but not limited to: A.) Flexible cord used and attached to building surface in adjacent storage room across from battery charging stations in the production area. B.) Flexible cord used and attached to building surface in shipping area. The flexible cord was powering a ZAP 880 series - 3.
