29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(1): Each employer who has a workplace or work operation covered by this section shall determine the 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI). This determination shall be made in accordance with either paragraph (d)(2) or paragraph (d)(3) of this section. a) Bosio Metal Specialties - 409 Industrial Dr., North Wales, PA - On or about February 21, 2024, employees weld and laser cut on stainless steel containing hexavalent chromium. The employer did not evaluate each employee's 8-hour TWA exposure to hexavalent chromium by either scheduled monitoring or performance oriented option as required. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
