29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use (a) Recreational Equipment Inc. 303 Lafayette Street New York, NY 10012 Employees are required to use P-Tex and metal grip to conduct bike and ski repairs. Employees are exposed to chemicals such as Acetic Acid, Limonene and Aryclic Acid. The employer failed to maintain safety data sheets for all hazardous chemicals used in the facility such as but not limited to the following: P-Tex and Metal Grip. Condition observed on or about February 16, 2024 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19
