29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces were kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: a) Cabinet Room - Fugitive combustible wood dust had accumulated on walls, electrical conduit, outlets and normal lighting snap switches, overhead lighting, steel beams and ductwork, and on and around woodworking equipment and dust collection systems, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards, on or about October 23, 2023. b) Sanding Room - Fugitive combustible wood dust had accumulated on walls, electrical conduit, outlets and normal lighting snap switches, overhead lighting and ductwork, storage racks and worktables, and on and around woodworking equipment, and dust collection systems, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards, on or about October 23, 2023. c) Door Room - Fugitive combustible wood dust had accumulated on walls, electrical conduit and outlets, and on and around woodworking equipment, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards, on or about October 23, 2023. No abatement certification or documentation required.
