Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.132(a):Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) Saegertown Dairy Inn, on or about October 1st, 2023, and times prior thereto: Employees were working with hot oil during a filtration process. Employees were not required to wear personal protective equipment to protect the torso and leg area during the filtration process. Employees were exposed to burn injuries during the filtration process. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
