29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible engineering controls were not utilized: (a) JGM, Inc. dba JGM Fabricators & Constructors LLC located at 1201 Valley Road Coatesville, PA: The employer did not implement feasible administrative and/or engineering controls to reduce noise levels listed in Table G-16 of this standard for employees performing steel fabrication activities such as sandblasting. An employee was exposed to continuous noise levels equal to 576.1% of the allowable 100% dose for an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA). This exposure was equivalent to an 8-hour TWA of 102.6 dBA, exceeding the OSHA Permissible Exposure Level of 90.0 dBA for an 8-hour TWA. Sampling time was 382 minutes. Zero exposures were assumed for all unsampled time periods. Violation occurred on or about August 23, 2023
