29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): (a)Core Framing, LLC at 5501 - 5503 South Huntwood Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57110: On or about and at times prior to July 13, 2023, the employer did not ensure Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operators were trained and certified prior to operating the Terex Model TH1056C, JLG model 6042, and the JLG Model G6-42A prior to use on site. This condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards associated with unsafe operation of the telehandler.
