Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective eye equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment: a.) Eden, Inc., Spray booth area, on or about May 18th, 2023 and times prior thereto: Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including but not limited to, UR Clear Precat Self-S 20 SH (LFC2014) during spray coating operations. Employees did not utilize chemical goggles while performing work operations with corrosive chemicals. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
