29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(i): Selection of appropriate respirators was not based on the respiratory hazard(s) to which the worker was exposed and user factors that affect respirator performance and reliability: a) Lowe' s retail store, 265 McLean Blvd., Paterson, NJ: On or about March 14, 2023, an employee used gas-powered saws to cut concrete, while another employee assisted by spraying water on the saw cuts to control dust. The employer required employees to wear P95 filtering facepiece respirators, but did not base the selection of the respirators on the hazards to which employee were exposed.
