29 CFR 1926.1204(e)(1): Permit confined space was not tested to determine if acceptable entry conditions existed before authorized entry was begun: a) Worksite manholes, Mount Laurel NJ: On or about 03/02/23 and 03/03/23 the employer did not test the internal atmospheres of manholes prior to being entered by company employees. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILUE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
