29 CFR 1910.213(e)(1): Each circular resaw shall be guarded by a hood or shield of metal above the saw. This hood or shield shall be so designed as to guard against danger from flying splinters or broken saw teeth. Employees are exposed to amputation hazard. Employees using the 10"Jet Pro Shop table saw on 2x4's, in the packaging were exposed to amputation hazards in that a guard was not provided during the resawing operation.
