29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): Inspection, maintenance, and repair. The employer must ensure: (1) Walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition; a) On or before February 7, 2023, the employer did not ensure walking-working surfaces such as the dock plates located on the delivery outbound docks including Dock 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, and 34 were inspected, corrected and repaired before employees were required to use the dock doors with a gap between the dock plates and the trailer to load and unload trucks.
