29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): (a) Facility-wide: On or about February 9, 2023 the employer had not assessed the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in that employees using corrosive and irritating chemicals including acetone and Enprep 222SE to clean parts were not required to use adequate chemically resistant gloves and adequate eye and face protection.
