29 CFR 1910.332(b)(1): Employees were not trained in and familiar with the safety-related work practices required by 1910.331 through 1910.335 that pertained to their respective job assignments: a) Reverse Osmosis Trailer (a 480-volt electrical cabinet inside the MCC closet): On or about January 24, 2023, employees were required to open a 480-volt live electrical cabinet to verify if a circuit breaker for the faulting water pump was tripped, exposing these employees to electrical hazards, such as but not limited to arcs flash or blast, without first being trained in electrical safety-related work practices that pertained to their respective job assignments.
