29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): The employer did not determine if the voluntary use of a respirator did not in itself create a hazard: At the workplace located at 7601 East 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64126, The employer did not determine if the voluntary use of a respirator did not in itself create a hazard to employees. Employees engaged in painting and sandblasting activities were exposed to chemical, solid material particulate inhalation hazards. The employer provided and allowed employees to wear respiratory protection without determining if the respiratory protection would create a health hazard to the wearer.
