29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(1): For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer did not fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1: a.) On or about September 8, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, the employer failed to ensure that employees using a handheld gas-powered saw to cut concrete sewer pipe implemented proper engineering controls and work practices as specified for the task in Table 1 of 29 CFR 1926.1153. Affected employee(s) were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with inhalation of crystalline silica dust.
