29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer shall assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). At 6432 Prescott, Saint Louis, MO 63147 - On March 9, 2022 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to struck by hazards due to the employer failing to assess the workplace for hazards which would necessitate the use of personal protective equipment. Employer failed to assess hazards associated with foot protection in the shipping and receiving areas and in the bale area for the use of protective footwear.
