Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.146(c)(4): If the employer decides that its employees will enter permit spaces, the employer shall develop and implement a written permit space program that complies with this section. The written program shall be available for inspection by employees and their authorized representatives. In March 2022, at an establishment located at N2467 Vaughan Road, in Waupaca, Wisconsin; in the Paint Area; entry into the Blue-Surf Oven was conducted to remove the sheet of metal on the bottom of the elevated oven floor and remove small parts which had fallen from the conveyor line. The gas line was not properly isolated prior to entry.
