29 CFR 1910.147(f)(2)(i): When outside servicing personnel were engaged in activities in a facility, the onsite employer and the outside employer did not inform each other of their respective lockout or tagout procedures: a. Sanitation - On or about March 24, 2022, the employees of Sanitation Solutions Plus conducting sanitation operations on the turkey kill side were not following the Empire Kosher lockout tagout program or ensure compliance with lockout tagout procedures, exposing employees to caught-in and re-energization hazards. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
