29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i):The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. On or about December 29, 2021, at establishments located at 1250 Glory Road and 1330 Glory Road in Green Bay, Wisconsin; employees working in Plants 1 and 2 were exposed to potential hazards associated with unexpected machine energizations when a periodic inspection of the employer's energy control procedures had not been completed, to include physical application of the procedures, at least annually to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were being followed.
