29 CFR 1910.1000(b)(1): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of copper fume listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 0.1mg/m3. a.) On or about February 8, 2022, an employee working primarily on Press 600T-3, was exposed to 0.49mg/m3 of copper fume over a sampling period of 455 minutes, approximately 4.9 times the limit of 0.1mg/m3. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled. b.) On or about February 8, 2022, an employee working primarily on Press 80T-1, was exposed to 0.50mg/m3 of copper fume over a sampling period of 428 minutes, approximately 5 times the limit of 0.1mg/m3.
