29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: The employer does not ensure an employee working in the wash bay wore goggles or face shield while working with chemicals, exposing the employee to the eye irritation and burn hazards. This violation was observed on or about March 24, 2021 as an employee worked in the wash bay without the correct protective eye wear. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure employees are provided with and use the required eye protection.
