29 CFR 1926.62(d)(2)(v)(A):Until the employer performed an employee exposure assessment as required under 29 CFR 1926.62(d) and determined actual employee exposure, the employer did not provide to employees performing the tasks described in 29 CFR 1926.62(d)(2)(i), (d)(2)(ii), (d)(2)(iii), and (d)(2)(iv) with appropriate respiratory protection in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.62(f): At a worksite located at 3105 (Tycor Building), 3115-3133 (Shankman Building), and 3125-3133 (Michaelson Building) Troost Ave Kansas City, MO 64109: Employees were exposed to lead containing materials. The employer failed to provide employees with appropriate respiratory protection before determining if any employees may be exposed to lead at above the action level while conducting demolition and renovation operations. Employees were manually altering and removing bricks from interior walls, preparing window materials, and were removing demolition debris. This was documented on December 3, 2020 and December 16, 2020. Compass Resources LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1358797, citation number 1, item number 6a and was affirmed as a final order on May 2nd, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 3119-3123 (Shankman Building) and 3125-3133 ( Michaelson Building).
