29 CFR 1926.50(b):Provisions were not made prior to commencement of the project for prompt medical attention in case of serious injury: The employer is failing to provide employees with emergency aid related to work site accidents in remote locations. On or about November 4, 2020 employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while demolishing a bridge located at 17497 S Burnett School Road in Ashland, Missouri. The employer has 2 employees working on a remote demolition site more than 5 minutes from any emergency service, demolishing a bridge using heavy equipment (excavator) to pull large steel and wood components of the structure apart. An incident resulted in an employee begin struck by the equipment and materials suffering severe trauma without a first responder or live saving supplies available.
