29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: (a) On or about July 13, 2020, training was not provided to preventive maintenance personnel in the recognition of hazardous energy sources, the type of energy sources, and practices and methods required to safely deenergize machines/equipment, including but not limited to HVAC systems and other building equipment and systems.
