29 CFR 1910.178(m)(1): Trucks shall not be driven up to anyone standing in front of a bench or other fixed object. a) On or about June 9, 2020 in order to turn two steel coils that were placed on the winder backwards, employees turned the load manually requiring the forklift to be driven up to employees standing in front of the Little Winder while the employees held two approximately 566 pound coils of steel upright so the forklift operator could put the coils onto the fork of the forklift.
