29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) On or about 02/05/2020; where the employer did not develop and document specific energy control procedures for machines and equipment such as, but not limited to: the Vacuum Heat Treat Furnace (asset #108645) electrical, mechanical and pneumatic energy. b) On or about 02/13/2020; where energy control procedures were not utilized for set up operations such as, but not limited to: plant 17 - pump and motor test bays. Employees set up test apparatus without securing energy isolating devices by locking them in the "off" position. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
