29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: On or about October 7, 2019 the employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures. The employer required employees to wear respirators when sanding and painting metal shipping containers. All provisions of 29CFR 1910.134(c) through (o) must be covered in a respiratory protection program. Key elements include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Selection of respirators for employees. 2. Medical evaluations for employees. 3. Fit testing. 4. Training and information. 5. Recordkeeping.
