29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: The employer is failing to prevent employee exposure to burn hazards. On or about October 1, 2019, employees working near the kettle areas were exposed to burn hazards due to molten zinc splashes. Employees were not equipped with flame resistant (FR), insulated, or cotton clothing. Abatement documentation is required for this violation.
