29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(i)(M): Powered industrial truck operators did not receive initial training on truck-related topics including operating instructions, warnings, or precautions listed in the operators manual for the types of vehicles that the employees were being trained to operate: a) Shipping Department - On or about September 11, 2019 and times prior thereto, employees were being trained to operate a Crown Narrow-Aisle RR 5700 Series stand-up forklift and the employer did not review the operating instructions, warnings, or precautions listed in the operator's manual. b) Shipping Department - On or about September 11, 2019 and times prior thereto, employees were being trained to operate a Crown WP 3000 Walkie Pallet Truck and the employer did not review the operating instructions, warnings, or precautions listed in the operator's manual. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
